It has been a long time since I posted anything at all. Over the last six or seven months my life has changed a lot. I was also kind of burnt out on blogging, though lately I have been thinking about getting back into it so this an attempted at doing so.
Since I December, and my last “real” post about leaving the mission field a lot of different things have been going on. I left the Vineyard Church of Knox County, there was something going on, being said, and other stuff that I did not agree with. It was a very hard decision to make but at the same time God gave me peace about.
I have not been attending church much. This is my personal view; I think that there is some churches that have lost the true since of what church was suppose to be about. There are “rules” about who the church is allow associating with, almost a “dictatorship” type leadership, that say everyone is a “pastor” or leader, but only if “leadership” likes the person. There are some other things too, but for the most part I think that the American church has lost sight of the original church and what God wanted it to be. Like I said that is my personal view.
Ok, moving on.
In January I started back to school and was working on the pre-requisites for COTC’s Surgical Technologist program. I went both winter and spring quarters at COTC. I was hoping to start COTC surg tech program this fall but was unable to get into the class, there is a long waiting list for that program. Then in May I applied to Fortis College in Columbus, Ohio. I was accepted into their surg tech program starting this fall.
Also in January I moved into a new apartment in Mt. Vernon. It is much bigger than my last place and I also was able to get my cat Monty back, who was temporary staying with a friend.
I am still working at Rolls Royce in Mount Vernon, in the security department. I am not taking any classes this summer and hoping to do some traveling. So that is what is going here. I am hoping to post more stuff about school as a progress through the program. So welcome back to blog world!!!!
