MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT RESULTS IN TWO FATALITIES

A motorcycle accident around 4:15pm Saturday February 7th, on Austin Tracy Road took the life of a Barren County woman. 40 year old Teresa A. Moore was a passenger on a 2005 Harley Davidson Motorcycle that left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene by Barren County Corner Mike Swift. The driver 43 year old Kelly E. Livingston also of Barren County was transported by Air Methods to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN for treatment of injuries where he succumbed to his injuries weeks later.  

OVERTURNED VEHICLE RESULTS IN ONE FATALITY

A one vehicle accident Wednesday May 27th shortly after 1:00 pm, on Scottsville Road approximately 8 miles south of Glasgow, took the life of a Tennessee man and sent another to TJ Samson Hospital.

The accident occurred when the driver 74 year old Scott A. Rippy of Bethpage TN, was traveling south on Scottsville Road and lost control of his 2000 Ford Ranger due to heavy rainfall, the truck then began to spin out of control, leave the roadway and overturn multiple times before coming to a final rest on its top.

A passenger in the truck 66 year old George T. Carter also of Bethpage TN, was extricated and transported from the scene to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment of injuries, where he was later released. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Corner Mike Swift.

The deceased was not wearing a seatbelt. The passenger, however, was belted at the time of the crash.  

TWO VEHICLE CRASH RESULTS IN ONE FATALITY

A two vehicle accident Thursday June 18th around 8:20 pm, on Matthews Mill Road approximately 4.5 miles south of Glasgow, took the life of a Glasgow man and sent three other people to TJ Samson Hospital.

The accident occurred when the driver a 26 year old Eddie Gravens of Glasgow and his passenger 19 year old Timothy Runyon, were traveling south on Matthews Mill Road in a 1991 Chevy Pickup and traveled into the northbound lane of travel striking a 2003 Nissan Altima driven by a 26 year old Patsy Bulle of Edmonton along with her passenger 7 year old Pacie Bulle. The truck then began to spin out of control, leave the roadway and overturn before coming to a final rest on its top, the car ran off the edge of the roadway.
