Reviewing The New 2009 Ford Everest Midsize SUV
When I think about Fords, my thoughts stray to my very first car: a yellow Ford Laser , essentially a restyled Mazda 323, that I possessed while I matriculated in college. I eventually let go of it a couple of years after I obtained my sheepskin and I have never driven, much less examined, a Ford vehicle since.
That is, until I got to see a second-generation, 2009 Ford Everest mid-sized sport-utility vehicle at a car show held at the grounds of Fort Bonifacio recently. The pictures illustrating this entry are that from a 3.0L DuraTORQ TDCi 4X4 AT Limited model.

The ICE is not all that distracting. On the contrary I experienced a lovely quiet ride with 2 kids at the back busy watching video. The front deck has a safety feature that turns into a blue screen the moment you disengage the handbrakes. Plus, to totally take out any light distraction, you can put it on ’stand-by’, leaving is black.
