New research from Vanderbilt University claims that aggression is rewarding to people, just like food & drugs. ***MARLAR: They even reported it through gritted teeth.

A new study finds that you can still be a little overweight, perhaps even obese, and still be fit. If you’re not fit, it doesn’t take as much as you might think to get in shape, either. Experts say that 30 minutes of moderate activity at least five days a week can get you out of the hazardous low-fit category.  ***MARLAR: I’m in pretty good shape if “moderate activity” means arm stretches to the bowl of peanut butter cups.

British doctors say they have used an inert gas to prevent brain injury in a baby boy who was born in critical condition.  The treatment with xenon gas is experimental and has not been used elsewhere, the doctors at St. Michael’s Hospital in Bristol said Friday.  ***MARLAR: Meanwhile, children through the rest of the world are suffering brain damage from their gas of their fathers.

Police say a man robbed a north Portland, Oregon Bank of America branch on Wednesday, then stole a Jaguar with two Chihuahuas inside.  ***MARLAR: Ironically, he was planning a run for the border.

It didn’t take a lot of detective work to I-D a robbery suspect. Police in Lincoln, Nebraska, say Kevin Martzett left behind a pretty good clue — a check made out in his name from the Cass County Jail. According to authorities, Martzett was issued the check when he was released on bond earlier this month. Police say Martzett and another man forced their victim to go an A-T-M, deposit the check then withdraw 60 dollars and give it to them. Police say they’re still looking for the second suspect. Martzett was busted on a robbery charge. ***MARLAR: Armed robbery can get you twenty years… and robbing a guy for only $60?  That comes to just $2 per year.  Same yourself the hassle, and hold up your sofa at gunpoint for the spare change between the cushions.
